What You'll Be Working On
You'll work across a varied range of renewable energy projects, including:
- Solar PV installations
- Battery storage installations
- Hybrid inverter systems
- AC and DC coupled battery systems
- Solar PV and battery commissioning
- Battery retrofits to existing Solar PV systems
- Inverter replacements and upgrades
- Electrical testing and certification
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- System configuration and setup
- Consumer unit and associated electrical works
- EV charger installations
- System commissioning
- Customer handovers
Our work includes both domestic and commercial renewable energy installations, giving you the opportunity to broaden your experience and continue developing your renewable energy career.
What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or recognised equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong electrical installation knowledge
- Good electrical testing and fault-finding ability
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to problem-solve effectively
- Confidence to use your own initiative
- Ability to work independently when required
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Professional approach when dealing with customers
- Pride in delivering quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Highly Desirable
- Solar PV installation experience
- Battery storage installation experience
- Solar PV and battery commissioning
- Hybrid inverter systems
- AC and DC coupled battery storage
- Solar PV and battery fault finding
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent
- ECS Gold Card
- EV charger installation
- MCS-compliant installation experience
- Renewable energy qualifications
- Manufacturer training and accreditations
