The Role
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils in Reception and KS1
- Supporting children with a range of additional needs, including speech and language difficulties
- Helping pupils access learning activities and participate fully in school life
- Encouraging communication, social interaction and emotional development
- Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs and external professionals
- Building positive, trusting relationships that help pupils feel safe, supported and confident
We Are Looking For
- Experience working with children, ideally within a school or early years setting
- UK classroom-experience & highly reliable
- DBS on the update service, or willing to apply
- Understanding of SEND and inclusive practice
- Experience supporting speech and language development is highly desirable
- A patient, nurturing and resilient approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed
