About the role
As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth, effective and inspiring day-to-day running of the nursery.
You will:
- Lead, support and motivate our dedicated nursery team.
- Help create a positive, inclusive and child-centred environment.
- Provide guidance and encouragement to practitioners, helping them achieve their best.
- Support the planning and delivery of outstanding learning and development opportunities for children.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Promote high standards of safeguarding, care, learning and wellbeing.
- Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the setting.
- Lead by example, creating a positive culture where everyone feels valued.
- Help develop and mentor team members, encouraging continuous professional growth.

Relevant Early Years qualifications and leadership experience are essential (minimum Level 3 qualification, level 4, 5 and 6 preferable and 1 year in a leadership role)
