We are a busy and well-established garage providing vehicle servicing, repairs, MOT preparation, and customer-focused automotive solutions. We are looking for a friendly, organised, and professional Service Receptionist to join our team.
The Role
As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the service reception desk.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting customers and handling enquiries in person and over the phone.
- Booking vehicle services, repairs, and MOT appointments.
- Liaising with technicians and keeping customers updated on vehicle progress.
- Preparing estimates, invoices, and service documentation.
- Managing customer records and service schedules.
- Processing payments and handling cash/card transactions.
- Maintaining a professional and welcoming reception area.
Requirements
- Previous customer service or reception experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Confidence using computer systems and office software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience within the automotive industry is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided.
