Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our vibrant childcare team. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for young children to learn and grow. Your expertise in early childhood education, combined with strong management and leadership skills, will ensure that every child receives high-quality care and developmental support. These roles will be working within our small homely nursery which follows a Hygge inspired curriculum
Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and social skills in young children
- Supervise children during playtime, mealtimes, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, attendance, and developmental milestones
- Foster strong communication with parents and guardians through regular updates and feedback about their child's development
- Lead and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance to ensure consistent quality of care and adherence to policies
- Manage daily routines efficiently while adapting to the individual needs of each child
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and childcare regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment
Qualifications
- Recognized qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., Level 3 or equivalent)
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
- Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of childcare best practices, safeguarding policies, and early childhood development principles
- Valid driving license is preferred for roles requiring transportation or home visits
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support the needs of the children and team

Pay: £12.80-£13.10 per hour
