Aptus Utilities is looking for either an MU Project Manager or Developing Project Manager to join our team in the Northwest area.
What you will be doing:
- Manage a portfolio of schemes within a designated area.
- Oversee site activities from pre-start through to utility connections.
- Liaise with developers and site agents, conducting pre-start meetings and site checks.
- Order materials, plant, traffic management, and road opening permits.
- Manage direct labour and subcontractors on site.
- Conduct team and quality audits.
- Measure and track completed work, ensuring accurate records.
- Review as-laid documentation and submit operational paperwork to asset owners.
- Coordinate utility connections with water, gas, and electricity providers.
- Close out NCRs and incident reports promptly.
- Manage employees in line with company policies and procedures.
As a Developing Project Manager you will receive support and training whilst assisting with the above.
What we ask from you:
- Be an experienced Multi Utility Project Manager (PM)
- Must have multi utility experience as a operative (Developing PM)
- Ability to work within timescales and to deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels
- Must be able to multi-task and keep calm under pressure
- Hold Full UK driving licence
Project Manager Desirable:
- Ability to organise and manage the completion of site works from both an HSQE and commercial perspective
- NRSWA Streetworks
- CSCS Card
- Hold Site management or Site Supervision Safety Certificate
- Hold Gas/Water NCO 2
- Hold IOSH or similar
- Hold Management qualification
