Aspira Education are recruiting a School Administrator to join a specialist education setting, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school office and acting as a key point of contact for staff, pupils, parents, and external agencies.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a high standard of support.
Hours
Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm
This role will be working throughout the school holidays also so pay won't be pro rata so a great opportunity for anyone looking for a role within this field!
About the Role
As a School Administrator, you will:
- Provide administrative support to the leadership team and wider school staff.
- Act as a professional first point of contact for visitors, parents, and external stakeholders.
- Manage emails, telephone calls, and correspondence efficiently.
- Maintain accurate pupil, staff, and school records.
- Support with data entry, filing, reporting, and general office administration.
- Use school databases and Microsoft Office systems to manage information effectively.
- Assist with attendance, admissions, and other school administration processes.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with school procedures at all times.
This is a varied role requiring excellent organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience working in an administrative role (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Accurate typing and data entry abilities.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional manner.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A discreet, reliable, and confidential approach to work.
Experience within a school environment is desirable but not essential.
