Overview
Seeking a freelance gardener to work on an ad hoc basis, roughly a day or two a week. Helping to maintain, develop and create beautiful, large gardens in and around the Chew Valley.
Must be able to work on their own initiative, so a good knowledge of gardening practices essential.
Duties
- Cultivate and maintain gardens, including planting, pruning, weeding, and watering.
- Operate hand tools effectively for various gardening tasks.
- Monitor plant health, identifying pests or diseases and taking appropriate action.
- Work on large planting projects.
- Will need their own transport and tools (secateurs, trowels ect).
Skills
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to gardening tasks.
- Experience in horticulture with a focus on plant growth and care.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing environments.
