Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm | Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm (39 hours per week)

The Role
We are seeking a hands-on Vehicle Installation & Assembly Technician to assemble specialist cleaning equipment and install water-fed pole window cleaning systems into commercial vehicles.
This is a varied role combining workshop assembly, vehicle installation, and customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Assembly
- Assemble window cleaning equipment ready for sale.
- Wire and hose pumps, controllers, and associated components.
- Build and test water filtration units.
- Assemble water-fed pole window cleaning systems to company standards.
Vehicle Installations
- Install water-fed pole window cleaning systems into vans.
- Securely mount water tanks and equipment using industry-approved methods.
- Drill and prepare vehicle floors where required.
- Fit spreader plates and mounting hardware beneath vehicles.
- Ensure all installations are completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard.
About You
You will be practical, enthusiastic, and customer-focused, with a methodical mindset and the ability to work independently using your own initiative.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Mechanical aptitude and practical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Positive, outgoing, and professional attitude.
- Ability to learn technical product information quickly.
- Energetic, reliable, and self-motivated.
Desirable Experience (not essential)
- Previous vehicle mechanical or assembly experience.
- Experience working with commercial vehicles, electrical systems, or aftermarket vehicle installations.
- Experience using hand and power tools in a workshop environment.
