Carrick Engineering is a growing manufacturer of premium stainless steel road tankers, supplying the dairy, food, environmental and liquid transport industries across Ireland and the UK.
We design and manufacture our tankers in house, with a strong focus on quality, craftsmanship and continuous improvement. As our order book continues to grow, we’re expanding our production team and investing in new equipment, processes and people to support the next stage of the company’s growth.

The Role
We’re looking for Stainless Steel Welder / Fabricators to join our production team.
You’ll be involved in the fabrication and welding of high quality stainless steel tanker components and assemblies, working to a high standard of finish and accuracy.
The role offers plenty of variety, with opportunities to develop your skills as our business continues to expand.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld stainless steel components and assemblies.
- Carry out MIG and TIG welding to a high standard.
- Read and work from engineering drawings.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality.
- Work closely with the production team to meet build schedules.
- Help maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop.
Requirements
- Experience in stainless steel fabrication and welding.
- Competent in MIG and TIG welding, or highly competent in one process with a willingness to learn the other.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: £12.50-£18.50 per hour
