Fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant to join a proactive, forward thinking Accountancy practice, located on the edge of The Lake District and Cumbria.
As a practice we support clients will all aspects of accounting and tax and the successful candidate will have a varied and evolving role, depending on their background and experience. Our work involves, but is not limited to, the following:
- Preparing annual and statutory accounts
- Preparing and submitting personal and corporate tax returns
- Management accounts and bookkeeping
- Payroll management and assistance
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Cloud software support and MTD submissions
- Support and assistance with HMRC and Companies House
Experience, attributes & skills sought:
- Accountant currently working in ‘practice’
- AAT or comparable qualification
- Excellent attention to detail
- Familiarity with prominent software packages
- Proactive, takes initiative, a good team player

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
