About the Role:
London is a fast-paced hub of global industry, and at CAT Environmental & Material Solutions, we bring that same precision to sustainable material management. We ensure complex environmental data moves smoothly behind the scenes so major projects can succeed. We believe that administrative work doesn't have to be mindless routine. We are looking for a Data Entry & Administrative Officer who can take ownership of our day-to-day data and office workflows. You aren't just typing numbers into spreadsheets; you are safeguarding the accuracy of our environmental tracking datasets. You will work closely with project managers and field operations, bridging the gap between raw material logs and clear, actionable reporting. You are the advocate for structure and quality in a room full of moving operational deadlines.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment: Our London office is designed for focus and seamless collaboration. We value a workspace that supports your best output—think modern tools, organized systems, and great team synergy.
Operational Maturity: We don't need you to convince us that accurate data matters. We know it does. Your records directly drive project compliance and client trust from Day 1.
Modern Stack: We work with clean database tools, cloud management platforms, and the full Microsoft 365 suite to keep processes fast and intuitive.
Growth: You will have direct access to internal training and skill-building opportunities to keep your operational capabilities sharp.
Key Responsibilities:
Data System Ownership: Maintain and organize our environmental tracking records. Ensure absolute consistency across all our digital databases and touchpoints.
End-to-End Records Management: Lead the process from initial data collection and validation to complete archiving and report distribution.
Office Administration: Support project leads with documentation, file management, and routine correspondence. Keep our office workflows structured and efficient.
Quality Assurance: Don't just log information. Validate assumptions against source documentation before a single report is finalized.
Stakeholder Support: Communicate data updates clearly to internal management and project leads. You can explain the status behind a dataset, not just where it is saved.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: 2+ years in Data Entry or Administrative Support roles, preferably within operations, logistics, or technical sectors.
Accuracy Track Record: Exceptional attention to detail is non-negotiable. We want to see a demonstrated history of error-free data handling and systematic file control.
Tooling: You are a Microsoft Office 365 power user (Excel, Word, Outlook) with strong fluency in standard database software.
Language Skills: English (Fluent/C1+) is required for daily operational coordination and record management.
Mindset: You are pragmatic. You know how to balance rigorous accuracy with efficient turnarounds during high-volume periods.
Pay: £26,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
