About the role
Benefact Trust is looking for a Senior Content Marketing Specialist to join our Gloucester team on a hybrid basis, covering 12 months' maternity leave.
This is a hands-on writing role at the heart of how we tell the Benefact Trust story. You'll lead our thought leadership and campaign content, plan and manage our content film days, write and drive our reactive media commentary, and run our marketing campaign plan, helping build the Trust's profile across the church and charity sectors.

What you'll be doing
Develop and deliver Benefact Trust’s content and campaign plans to grow awareness, engagement and impact.
Write high-quality thought leadership content, articles, media commentary, press releases and campaign materials.
Plan, manage and deliver content filming days, including scriptwriting and coordinating content production.
Identify and drive reactive media opportunities that raise the Trust’s profile and demonstrate our expertise and impact.
Manage, create and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, website and media channels.

What you'll need to have
Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, with experience creating content for multiple channels.
Experience developing thought leadership content and turning complex topics into engaging, audience-focused communications.
Experience planning and delivering content campaigns from concept through to execution.
Experience writing press releases, media commentary and reactive communications.
Experience planning and managing video or content production projects, including scriptwriting.
Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A genuine interest in organisations that improve lives and communities.
What makes you stand out
Experience using marketing analytics and reporting tools.
Experience using search engine optimisation (SEO) to help content reach a wider audience.
Experience managing brand and reputation across marketing channels.
Experience building and managing relationships with colleagues, partner organisations or beneficiaries.
Experience or knowledge of the charity, heritage or not-for-profit sector.
