Lifeserve Solutions Limited is looking for a compassionate, reliable and dedicated Female Personal Care Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred care in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
We are looking for someone who is available to start as soon as possible.
Due to the nature of the personal care involved and the needs and privacy of the service user, this position has a female occupational requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
- Supporting mobility and other daily living activities.
- Prompting or assisting with medication in accordance with the care plan.
- Preparing meals and supporting nutrition and hydration.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Supporting the service user to maintain independence and choice.
- Completing accurate care records.
- Reporting concerns promptly and following safeguarding procedures.
- Following the individual's care plan and company policies.
- Maintaining dignity, privacy and respect at all times.
Requirements
- Female applicants only due to the personal-care requirements of the service user.
- Must be available to start ASAP.
- Must be caring, compassionate, patient and reliable.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous care experience is desirable.
- Applicants must already have a valid right to work in the UK.
- Successful applicants will be subject to appropriate pre-employment checks, including DBS and references.
