Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately, providing friendly and attentive service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, including coffee, tea, snacks, and light meals, maintaining high quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, ensuring all surfaces, equipment, and utensils are hygienic and well-kept
- Handle cash register transactions efficiently, including processing payments and giving accurate change using basic math skills
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or salads while adhering to food safety standards
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods without compromising quality
- Follow all food safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers
Skills
- Proven barista experience or familiarity with coffee-making techniques is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety practices to uphold hygiene standards at all times
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced setting with excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and inventory checks
- Strong time management skills to juggle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
