What we are looking for:
We are looking for a receptionist to join our friendly team. Our ideal candidate is someone who is looking to grow within the company. We will provide full support to encourage growth and development as you progress.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Greeting patients on arrival.
- Assisting patients with queries by email and telephone.
- Appointment booking, in person and over the phone/email.
- Taking payments.
- Correspondence and post handling.
- Back-of-house tasks and training on how to use equipment such as a defibrillator and blood pressure machines.
What we expect from you:
- Enthusiastic customer-care focused attitude - Previous experience in customer service is essential.
- You will be confident and approachable.
- Hold excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- High computer literacy and lateral thinking - We have an easy-to-learn computer system which you will get full training on when you start.
Independence and initiative are integral to the role, as there will be a requirement for some lone working and to be conscious of what’s happening throughout the clinic on a day-to-day basis.
No previous experience in healthcare is necessary. We will provide full training.
You must have the right to work and live in the UK.
Additional language skills will be an advantage.
The clinics are currently open Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 6:15pm, and Saturdays 9am to 1pm.
The successful candidate's hours will be 5 days (38-40 hours) spread over these days, with paid overtime when necessary and occasional flexibility to work different shifts for holiday and sickness cover.
