The Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse & Despatch Operative to join our team. This is a hands-on role within a busy warehouse environment, supporting the smooth and efficient handling of stock and customer orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock control and general warehouse organisation
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Preparing pallets for despatch
- Providing cover for the goods-in area when required
- Booking consignments using online courier portals
- Preparing delivery notes and associated documentation
Skills & Experience Required
- Basic computer skills, including confidence using online systems
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to work
- A valid driving licence (required)
- Forklift experience (desirable)
- Previous warehouse or despatch experience is desirable but not essential
