We are seeking an experienced Host / Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role,possess a warm and approachable personality,and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. A committed team player who is personable with guests,this individual will play an important role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. This is a casual role and will be reporting into the F&B Manager.

The Rubens at the Palace Hotel is a stunning five-star property located in the heart of London’s Victoria and within walking distance of Buckingham Palace. This wonderful hotel has been fully refurbished and features 161 individually designed bedrooms and suites,as well as a range of Food and Beverage outlets including The English Grill Restaurant,The Curry Room Restaurant,The New York Bar,The Palace Lounge and Champagne Bar,as well as 9 well equipped function rooms.
Key Responsibilities of a Host / Hostess:

Greet guests with a friendly smile,providing accurate wait times and escorting them to the dining areas.

Drive revenue for our newly reopened Leopard Bar.

Aid with the promotion of our Leopard bar.

Making telephone calls and email inquiries in accordance with company standards.

Promote and upsell all Food & Beverage outlets to guests.

Complete administrative tasks as needed.

Aiding the operation when required.
What are we looking for?

Previous experience in a similar role,ideally within a luxury or fine dining environment.

Excellent communication skills,and a professional,approachable demeaner.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

A team player who can also work independently when needed.
