£12.71 per hour + performance bonus
30 hours per week | Tuesday to Saturday | 10am – 4pm
The Suite Spot is a brand-new sofa showroom opening in Parkhead, Glasgow, and we're looking for a confident, friendly Sales Advisor to become part of the team.
This is a sales role. We're looking for someone who enjoys talking to customers, can work independently and is motivated by helping people find the right product for their home.
The showroom is located within an established flooring and bed store, so you'll benefit from existing customer footfall while being responsible for running the sofa showroom day-to-day.
The Role
- Welcoming customers into the showroom
- Building rapport and understanding customer requirements
- Demonstrating products and guiding customers through available options
- Closing sales in a professional, relaxed manner
- Arranging customer deliveries and maintaining accurate records
- Keeping the showroom clean, organised and well presented
- Following up enquiries when required
About You
We're more interested in attitude and sales ability than industry experience.
You might come from furniture, flooring, kitchens, bathrooms, beds, cars, estate agency, retail sales or any other customer-facing sales environment.
You'll be:
- Confident and personable
- Comfortable working independently for long periods
- Self-motivated and reliable
- Organised and detail-oriented
- Professional in your approach
- Comfortable asking for the sale when the opportunity is there
Experience creating social media content would be a bonus, but is not essential.
