Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a proactive and experienced individual to join our fast-growing company. You will be involved in administrative processes to support the Production and Planning function within the business. This will involve some tasks working away from a desk, for example, site wide stock takes. The role requires a flexible and highly organised approach and candidates must be fully IT literate with strong communication skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
Duties
Support day to day business operations to ensure the production & planning department operates smoothly
Complete and maintain production, planning and other business administration records
Create and update documents and databases with personnel, financial and other data
Monitor and record compliance to company policies
Liaise with staff, managers, customers and suppliers on operational matters
Stock taking and data input
Provide a telephony function, taking customer orders, taking messages and answering enquiries
Any other admin duties as required
Skills required
Excellent IT and organisational skills
Candidate should have a full working knowledge of all Microsoft office packages.
Attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Be polite, helpful and diligent, with a ‘can do’ ethos
Flexibility is vital to ensure that the candidate supports the business in getting all functions complete within the required time frames.
