Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement personalised care plans for each client, ensuring their individual needs and preferences are met.
- Supervise and support caregivers to ensure they deliver compassionate and high-quality care in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals and external agencies to ensure holistic care and support for clients.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service, including scheduling, resource allocation, and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular assessments of clients' needs and monitor their well-being, making adjustments to care plans as required.
- Foster positive relationships with clients and their families, promoting dignity, respect, and independence.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the care team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in domiciliary care management or a similar role.
- Knowledge of care practices, regulations, and policies relevant to domiciliary care services.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Empathy, compassion, and a commitment to delivering person-centered care.
- Ability to effectively manage resources, prioritize tasks, and handle challenges in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in assessing client needs and developing tailored care plans.
- Familiarity with relevant IT systems for care management and reporting.
