We’re offering a paid Mailing Assistant Internship within our team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help us prepare and process large mailings to be sent to our customers.
A big part of this placement involves repetitive tasks and working with high volumes of mail, so it would suit someone who enjoys practical, structured work and is happy focusing on the same task for periods of time.
No previous experience is needed – we’re looking for someone who is reliable, willing to learn and takes pride in getting things right.
What You’ll Be Doing & Learning
During your placement, you’ll gain practical experience in:
- Preparing mailshots – helping to prepare, sort and pack high volumes of customer mail
- Mailing processes – learning how large-scale mailings are prepared and processed
- Accuracy & quality – checking work carefully and making sure the correct items are prepared for mailing
- Working to targets – developing confidence working efficiently while maintaining accuracy
- Organisation – keeping work organised and following processes correctly
- Teamwork – working alongside colleagues to complete mailing jobs and meet deadlines
You’ll be shown how to complete each task and supported by the team throughout your placement.

Hours & Pay
Working hours will be Monday to Friday.
Aged 18–21: 30 hours per week, paid at the applicable National Minimum Wage.
Aged 22+: 37.5 hours per week, paid at the applicable National Living Wage.
This internship is offered through the CPCA Forging Futures programme, so applicants will need to meet the programme's eligibility requirements.
