SolidCor is on a mission to make volume fire door replacement possible within days — enabling the industry to rapidly achieve compliance and community safety in every building. Born out of the urgent need for change following the Grenfell disaster, we have built the fastest production times in the industry and the widest range of primary-tested fire door configurations. We are growing fast and we are looking for A-players to help us get there.
We are passionate about getting things right and obsessed with quality. Our products are safety-critical — when a fire door fails, the consequences are real. Every operative on our factory floor plays a direct role in making sure that never happens.
We are looking for Multi Skilled Assembly Operatives to join our growing production team in Chesterfield. This is a hands-on factory role where you will move across multiple workstations and processes — assembly, fitting, finishing, and supporting wherever the team needs you most. Your flexibility and commitment to quality are what make this role work.
If you take pride in your work, hold yourself to a high standard, and want to be part of a business genuinely committed to saving lives — read on.

An A-player mindset — high standards, extreme ownership and the drive to do things properly, the first time.
- Experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or production operative role — comfortable working in a busy factory environment.
- A flexible, multi-skilled approach — willing and able to move between different workstations and tasks as production demands.
- Strong attention to detail — consistent, accurate, and quality-focused in everything you do.
- A reliable, self-motivated team player who takes pride in their output and supports those around them.
- Comfortable operating hand tools, power tools, and light production machinery safely.
- Good understanding of H&S requirements in a factory environment.
