We are seeking passionate, dedicated, and engaging football coaches to join Skills Academy on a part time basis. As a member of our part time coaching team, you will be responsible for the delivery of structured, fun and inclusive football sessions on our after school club and Soccer Saturday programme.
Expected working hours: Monday-Friday: 3:30-4:30/5pm. Saturdays: 10-11:30am. With potential for day time work Monday-Friday 11am-1pm.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Football sessions that are engaging, educational, inclusive, and fun, catering to all abilities.
- Provide coaching aimed at developing participants’ physical, technical, social, and mental skills through sport.
- Collaborate with staff to plan, coordinate, and deliver high-quality sports programmes.
- Maintain accurate records (attendance, progress, any incidents before/during/after sessions).
- Participate in ongoing CPD; maintain up-to-date qualifications in coaching, safeguarding, first aid.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of football and/or multi-sport coaching. Understanding of skills & techniques for football is essential.
- Strong communication skills; ability to motivate and engage children.
- Good organisation and attention to detail in planning and delivering sessions.
- Minimum FA Level One in Coaching Football (or equivalent); First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications. (Working towards these is acceptable for some part-time roles.)
- Clean driving licence and access to own transport.
- A passion for sport and a commitment to creating a positive, inclusive sporting environment.

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
