Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at using both hand and power tools to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles, contributing to their overall satisfaction and trust in our services.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tyre rotations.
- Utilise diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle problems accurately.
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools as required.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed on vehicles for compliance and customer reference.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while working in the workshop environment.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to automotive work.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues alike.
