SAL Healthcare is a CQC-registered home care provider, and we are building a small founding team of exceptional live-in carers as we establish our service in Richmond upon Thames and South West London.
This is not agency work and it is not a call centre. We are deliberately small, and we do things properly: one carer who genuinely knows their client, real support behind you, and a registered manager who knows your name and answers the phone. If you take pride in how you care, and you have been let down before by employers who treat carers as numbers, we would love to hear from you.
You would live in a client's own home for agreed periods, providing round-the-clock, one-to-one care that lets them stay safely and comfortably where they want to be.
What you would do
- Personal care: washing, dressing, continence support, mobility and transfers
- Medication support, following the care plan
- Meal preparation, nutrition and hydration
- Companionship, and support to get out and about
- Light housekeeping, laundry and shopping
- Keeping simple daily records on our app, so the family and our team can see how their loved one is doing
What we are looking for
- Genuine warmth, patience and reliability, and real pride in good care
- Experience in care is welcome, but the right attitude matters more; full training is provided
- Comfortable living in a client's home for agreed periods
- Right to work in the UK, and willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check (we arrange and pay for this)
- Good spoken and written English for care records and family updates
Why work for SAL
- Consistency, not churn. We match you to clients properly and keep those relationships going. No being sent somewhere new every few weeks.
- Real support behind you. Proper handovers, regular supervision, and a registered manager who is genuinely reachable.
- Modern and supported, not buried in paperwork. Our app handles the admin, so your time goes on care, not forms.
- Founding team. Join us early and help shape how we care as we grow in the area.
- Fair pay, your own private room and meals in placement, and paid travel.
Care that feels like family. If that is how you already work, come and do it somewhere it is valued.
