£16.05 per hour during probation, rising to £17.15 per hour upon successful completion of probation (includes 10% shift enhancement)
33 paid hours per week

Riverside Recruitment are looking for an experienced Shift Supervisor to join a successful and growing food manufacturing operation in the Chew Magna area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated production professional with supervisory experience to lead and support a busy afternoon shift team. You will be responsible for ensuring production targets, quality standards and health & safety requirements are consistently achieved while driving team performance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and coordinating production activities across the shift
- Leading, motivating and supporting production operatives
- Monitoring productivity and ensuring production targets are met
- Driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, quality and health & safety standards
- Managing shift handovers and reporting production performance
- Investigating and resolving operational issues and downtime
- Supporting training and development of team members
What We're Looking For
- Previous supervisory experience within manufacturing or food production
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Good understanding of health & safety and quality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Positive, proactive and hands-on approach
