Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Office Assistant to join our team. This full time role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative tasks within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in basic computer applications, and demonstrate a proactive approach to supporting office functions. Duties
- Answering and directing phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail
- Organising and maintaining physical and electronic filing systems
- Assisting with scheduling appointments and meetings for staff members
- Preparing and distributing internal memos, reports, and other documents
- Ordering office supplies and ensuring the office remains well-stocked
- Supporting team members with various administrative tasks as required
Requirements
- Proven organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar programmes
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is advantageous but not essential
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
