We are seeking caring, reliable and enthusiastic Support Workers/Personal Assistants to provide support for a 10-year-old girl with additional needs.
The successful candidates will play an important role in helping her enjoy positive experiences within the local community. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, compassionate and committed to promoting independence, wellbeing and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing 2:1 support for 10 year old with additional needs.
- Assisting with personal care requirements in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Supporting during weekends and school holidays.
- Accompanying and supervising on outings and activities in public and community settings.
- Encouraging social interaction, engagement and participation in age-appropriate activities.
- Ensuring safety, wellbeing and comfort at all times.
Essential Qualities:
- Experience working with children and/or individuals with additional needs.
- Caring, patient and understanding nature.
- Ability to build positive and trusting relationships.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable, flexible and responsible approach.
- Full UK driving licence and access to an appropriate vehicle is a must.
This position is subject to references and an enhanced DBS check.
Pay: £16.07-£20.56 per hour
