As an Education Team Administrator, you will provide comprehensive secretarial, administrative, and data management support to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of education services within the Trust. You will manage a wide range of administrative tasks, maintain accurate records and databases, coordinate documentation, and support the education team in meeting operational and service objectives.
You will work flexibly to respond to changing workload demands, prioritising tasks effectively to ensure timely support for the education team and continuity of service delivery. You will commit to maintaining high professional standards, ensuring that all documentation is accurate, up to date, and compliant with Trust policies and procedures.
Confidentiality is essential in this role, and you will handle sensitive information with discretion while adhering to NHS information governance, data protection requirements, and Trust standards. Through strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication, you will contribute to the efficient operation of the education department and the delivery of high-quality services.
Act as the first point of contact for the Education & Development Department, responding professionally to telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries, providing accurate information and directing queries appropriately. Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support, prioritising workloads, managing correspondence, and escalating urgent matters when required. Organise meetings, training sessions, and educational events, including bookings, preparing materials, minute taking, and administrative support.
Process financial transactions and procurement through Trust systems, ensuring compliance with financial procedures. Maintain, update, and analyse Education & Development data, producing accurate reports to support service monitoring and performance. Ensure confidential information is handled securely in line with NHS Information Governance, Data Protection legislation, and Trust policies.
Maintain departmental intranet pages and develop IT skills to support effective use of Trust systems. Provide basic technical support for simulation-based education and training, including equipment setup and troubleshooting following training. Deliver flexible administrative support across all Education & Development workstreams, contributing to continuous service improvement, effective teamwork, and successful delivery of departmental objectives while maintaining excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills in line with NHS values.
