This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic customer account manager with SAP experience to join a dynamic and fast-growing company. Due to expansion we are looking for an additional account manager to focus on building and maintaining relationships with our new and existing customer base. The correct candidate will be expected to manage purchase orders, manage customer orders to ensure On Time In Full is achieved and control the customers account via SAP and Excel as well as the day to day activities.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide great service to our customers internally and externally.
About Us
We are a Northumberland based chemical plant who produce a verity of different paint and coatings products. Currently, we are growing our portfolio and extending the ranges that are produced for our customers and require an additional account manager who is proven to be proficient in use of SAP as well as other Microsoft based programmes.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritising customer orders
- Using the SAP system to check stocks and financial details
- Liaising with customers on any quality issues
- Stock level monitoring
- Component and raw material ordering from suppliers
- Taking day to day customer queries and requests
- Weekly planning meetings
- Updating and maintaining spreadsheets for their customer
- Accepting deliveries
- Day to day filing
- Invoicing
- Raising works orders
- Stock allocation
- Assisting with projects
- New Product Introduction
- General office duties
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal & written
- Proven track record of account management
- Proficient in all office Microsoft packages
- SAP knowledge is essential within this role
- Well-organised and great attention to detail
- History of a continual improvement background is desirable
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
