Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise in fabrication, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software will be essential to ensure high-quality output. Duties
- Set up CNC machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and programming parameters based on project specifications.
- Operate CNC milling machines and other equipment to produce parts according to detailed drawings and specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD files created in SolidWorks or similar software to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Perform routine inspections of machined parts using hand tools and measurement devices, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Adjust machine settings as needed for optimal performance and troubleshoot issues during production runs.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment, including loading raw materials and managing finished goods.
- Maintain detailed records of production activities, machine maintenance, and quality checks for compliance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with fabrication processes, CNC machining, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automation systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks for designing or reviewing parts and assemblies.
- Skilled in milling operations, tooling selection, and materials handling techniques.
- Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements, calculations, and adjustments during machining processes.
- Experience working with hand tools, welding techniques, assembly procedures, or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Knowledge of materials used in manufacturing processes including metals, plastics, and composites is desirable.

Pay: £12.71-£18.50 per hour
