Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing payments efficiently with cash handling and cashiering skills
- Serve food items promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and food handling procedures
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, answer questions about menu items, and promote specials or promotions
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels and assisting with restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights at nightclubs or banquet events
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environments is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and energetic attitude
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations accurately
- Experience working in fine dining settings or catering environments is a plus
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
