The role
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for an Apprentice HR Administrator to support our HR team. This apprenticeship will be based from our Birmingham office and will give you the opportunity to build practical HR experience while developing your knowledge through formal study.
Your workload will always be varied. You will provide administrative support throughout the whole employee lifecycle to include managing the attendance process, supporting our new starter onboarding process by uploading new employees to the HR system, compiling new starter paperwork, monitoring the pre-employment checks and actioning the leaver process. You will also support the wider HR team with meeting preparation and follow-up administration where required. Providing an excellent standard of customer service, you will respond in a timely manner to HR queries from colleagues across the business while developing your understanding of HR policies, procedures and good practice.
The successful candidate will study the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice, with our partner training provider BPP. Applicants must not have a qualification in a similar subject at the same level or above.

The person
Applicants will need to have at least five GCSE’s graded A*-C/9-4 or equivalent and have achieved at three A-levels at graded A*-C or equivalent.
You will have a genuine interest in starting a career in HR, you will be involved in the day-to-day activities within our busy department while building confidence in your own responsibilities. You will be organised, reliable and willing to learn, with the ability to prioritise tasks, ask questions and work carefully when handling confidential information. You will have a positive approach, good attention to detail and the confidence to communicate with colleagues across the business.
You will take pride in producing accurate work, checking details carefully and delivering tasks on time. A keen eye for detail, punctuality, flexibility and a proactive approach will be key to your success.
