Bring Your Skills. Bring Your Pride. Help Us Open Our Doors.
Burlington Mews Care Centre is a newly refurbished care home and the latest addition to the NewBloom group — and we’re getting ready to welcome our very first residents.
We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician who takes real pride in their work and understands that great maintenance isn’t just about repairs — it’s about creating a safe, welcoming, well-run home where residents and staff can thrive.
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a home at the start of its journey and help set the standard from day one.
What You’ll Be Doing (And Why It Matters)
Keeping the home in top condition
From joinery and general repairs to painting and decorating, you’ll help keep our newly refurbished home looking and functioning at its best.
Keeping everyone safe
You’ll carry out routine checks including fire safety, water safety, and health & safety compliance — because safety always comes first.
Staying organised
Logging jobs, completing checks, and updating our digital maintenance systems — accuracy matters just as much as action.
Creating a place that feels like home
Your work helps ensure Burlington Mews is not only safe and functional, but warm, welcoming, and dignified for residents and visitors alike.
Being hands-on and adaptable
No two days are the same — you’ll need to be flexible, practical, and ready to respond to whatever the day brings.
Being there when it counts
You’ll join the on-call rota on alternate weekends to support essential maintenance needs.
You’ll Fit Right In If You…
- Have solid maintenance experience (care home experience is a big plus)
- Are confident with joinery, decorating, repairs, and general maintenance
- Are comfortable completing paperwork and using digital systems
- Can work independently while being a valued part of a wider team
- Take pride in high standards and notice the details others might miss
- Are flexible and happy to be on-call on alternate weekends
