We are looking for a passionate, motivated, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Full-Time or Part-Time Pharmacy Dispenser at Barming Pharmacy.
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Pharmacy Dispensing and have a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding patient care. You will thrive in a busy pharmacy environment, be eager to learn, and have the ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Main responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medicines and other pharmaceutical products accurately and safely.
- Prepare prescriptions by assembling, labelling, and checking medication in accordance with pharmacy procedures.
- Prepare monitored dosage systems (dosette boxes) for patients.
- Carry out a range of administrative duties to support the smooth and efficient running of the pharmacy.
- Gather, organize, and maintain accurate electronic patient records, including receiving and processing prescription orders.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy procedures by maintaining accurate prescription filing and record-keeping.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering patient queries and offering appropriate advice within the scope of the role.
- Liaise professionally with patients, GPs, care homes, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and place orders to maintain adequate supplies.
- Price medications, process payments, prepare billing information, and complete over-the-counter sales accurately.
What We're Looking For:
- Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Pharmacy Dispensing (essential)
- ProScript experience (preferred)

Salary: Hourly rate can be discussed during the interview.
