Responsibilities
- Safely handle materials through picking, packing, stocking, and load & unload activities to ensure timely order processing.
- Operate forklifts and mechanical equipment safely to move heavy or bulky items around the warehouse.
- Manage shipping & receiving tasks by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments with precision.
- Use the warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory levels, update stock records, and support stock replenishment.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards before dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by properly storing items and adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with stock rotation, inventory counts, and reporting discrepancies to keep stock levels accurate.
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
- Familiarity with materials handling techniques and warehouse equipment operation is advantageous.
- Basic mechanical knowledge can be beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail for quality control and accurate order picking & packing.
- A proactive attitude with good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
