Job Summary:
We pride ourselves in baking all our cakes in-house, as well as offering a menu made to order. To expand our business, we are looking for a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Porter / Assistant to join our team. As a member of our kitchen team, you will help to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen, handling washing, cleaning, maintaining cleanliness, supporting the overall efficiency of the kitchen. Experience isn't essential.
Responsibilities:
- Wash & clean kitchen equipment, dishes, plates, cups and utensils
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen & dishwasher area
- Support the kitchen team in receiving and storing deliveries
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Work with front of house to ensure service & efficient work flow.
Requirements:
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Good hygiene
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and holidays if required.
This position is for part or full time & offers an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in gaining experience in a kitchen setting within sociable hours.
Availability days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. (Most important days to us are Monday & Friday)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £8.00-£12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
