About the Role - Lead Electrician (Domestic & Multi-Skilled)
As a Multi-Skilled Electrician, you’ll carry out electrical repairs, maintenance and installations across our housing stock.
This is a hands-on, field-based role where you’ll work in both occupied and void properties, supporting tenants by keeping homes safe, compliant, and comfortable.
What You’ll Be Doing

Carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance and small installations

Diagnosing faults and completing work right first time

Completing inspection & testing (EICR) where qualified

Ensuring compliance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations

Working safely and respectfully in tenants’ homes

Supporting void property turnaround for faster re-lets
-
Using mobile technology to manage and update jobs in real time

Completing basic making-good (minor joinery/plumbing) where required
-
Participating in the on-call rota (1 in 20 weeks)
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a qualified Electrician who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.
Essential Skills & Experience

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)

City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing or equivalent)

Strong experience in domestic electrical work

Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills

Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

Experience working in occupied/tenanted properties

Confident using mobile job management systems

Full UK driving licence

Willingness to participate in on-call rota
Desirable

Experience in social housing or local authority maintenance
