SALARY
Salary is based on a rate of £16.75 per hour. Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis for the hours worked.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (COMPANY JOB SPEC)
60% Order/quote processing
We use a Microsoft Access database to manage the sales order processing side of the business, so excellent data entry skills and a high level of attention to detail are required.
15% General admin managing the main email inbox, filing, and posting invoices and statements therefore, we require someone who is highly organised
25% Telephone messaging and assisting directors with typing and sending emails, purchase ordering, scanning and sending product samples.

This is a small office containing modern and lively people; however, we like to maintain a relatively business-like atmosphere.
Due to the small number of people in the office, the ideal candidate will be lively, flexible and able to handle a busy environment.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Good, formal/professional telephone manner
Good admin background, ideally with experience of sales order processing
Good level of computer literacy (primarily Microsoft Office), along with decent typing speed
Able to juggle multiple tasks concurrently and happy with interruptions
Able to work off own initiative in a small office environment and able to manage telephone enquiries if others are out on appointments
Meticulous attention to detail a must.
Able to support a non Tech-savvy Director
