Do you love ice cream? We are an award-winning ice cream maker, and we are looking for a reliable, self-motivated and enthusiastic person to join our production team at our HQ in Rampisham, outside Dorchester. You will be doing a bit of everything in the ice cream making process, from weighing ingredients, pureeing fruit, labelling pots, potting ice cream, to cleaning the kitchen, utensils and machinery.
It would be great if you had previous experience of working in food production, although this is not essential. You will receive both in-house and online training to get your Food Safety and Hygiene certificate. You should be a good team player, as well as be able to work independently. You need to be able to follow recipes precisely, and work efficiently in a clean and tidy way. Most importantly you need to be hard-working with a "can-do" attitude and a friendly disposition to join our cheerful team.
The hours will be Monday to Friday from roughly 12pm to 7pm, but these times can change according to the time of year. The pay mentioned here is only indicative and is dependent on your experience.
The job is based in our kitchen at our HQ, which is outside Dorchester in Rampisham Business Centre, Rampisham Down DT2 0HS. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU NEED TO HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT - THERE IS NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT AVAILABLE
