We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic social worker for a full-time post within the Courts Team.
We are looking for someone who is able to work as part of a team and with autonomy. A person experienced working within the court and safeguarding arena would be desirable.
Within the Social Worker role your work will include but is not limited to:
Supporting children and families within both public and private law proceedings.
Supporting children and families through Children in Care statutory planning, Child Protection planning and Child in Need planning.
Undertaking assessments inclusive of re-unification assessments, Placement with Parents planning, Special Guardianship Order assessments and Children Services Assessments.
Working closely with a multi-disciplinary team including police, health, SEND and adult social care.
Advocating for children and young people to ensure their voices are heard and their needs are met.
Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to support reflective practice and professional growth.

The successful candidate must be a qualified social worker and registered with Social Work England or be preparing to register following a completion of a recognised Social Work qualification.
