Duties
- Prepare shipments by packing, and labeling products according to order specifications to ensure timely delivery.
- Handle materials efficiently by loading, unloading, and moving stock within the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
- Track inventory levels, update records, and manage order processing accurately.
- Conduct quality control checks to identify damaged or defective items and report issues promptly for resolution.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all areas comply with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated.
- Willingness to listen and learn from experienced team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily tasks.
- Mechanical knowledge or aptitude for operating warehouse equipment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail required for picking, packing, and quality control procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting.
- Able to understand and follow company health and safety requirements.
- Willingness to obtain forklift truck and/or overhead crane certification after hire.
