Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate PAYE or Self-Employed Barber to join our dynamic and growing team at Alpha Cuts. This is an excellent opportunity to earn high commission-based income while benefiting from access to over 2,000 active clients via our Booksy app.
As one of the busiest and highest-rated barbershops in the area, we’re proud to hold a 4.8-star rating on Google and 5 stars on Booksy. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in barbering, strong attention to detail, and a genuine passion for client service.
You’ll be responsible for delivering modern, precise, and tailored haircuts, beard trims, and grooming services to a diverse and loyal clientele, while contributing to a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute a wide variety of cutting, styling techniques and all other grooming services (including skin fades, crops, afro hair and beard trims)
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic workstation at all times
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences
- Build long-term client relationships through excellent service and consistency
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and shop policies
Requirements & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience as a barber
- Strong portfolio of work (Instagram, TikTok, or other platforms are acceptable)
- Proficiency in both modern and traditional cutting techniques
- Fluent English and the ability to engage with clients of all backgrounds
- A strong work ethic, good time management, and the ability to work well independently within a team environment

Pay: £21,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
