The Talbot Inn in Alton, Staffordshire is an independent and traditional public house famed for it's old-fashioned character, outdoor gardens and relaxed atmosphere. Serving traditional pub meals, we seek a enthusiastic and reliable cook/kitchen assistant to work alongside our team of chefs.
Duties:
Prepare and cook fresh food using quality ingredients
Develop and maintain menus
Maintain high standards of food hygiene
Manage stock to minimise waste
Work efficiently as part of a small friendly team
What we are looking for:
Previous experience in a professional kitchen
A genuine passion for food
Reliable, organised and able to work as part of a team
A positive attitude and pride in their work
Full time or part time hours available. Competitive rate of pay dependant upon experience.
Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
