Duties
- Lead and supervise the kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment
- Oversee all aspects of food production, from ingredient preparation to final presentation
- Develop and refine menu offerings, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and health regulations
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize kitchen efficiency
- Train team members in food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and service standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen workspace at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience with the ability to lead and develop a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and health regulations
- Demonstrated culinary expertise with a passion for creating high-quality dishes
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and manage multiple priorities
- Hands-on experience in food preparation, serving guests, and maintaining high service standards
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred; hospitality background is highly valued
