The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Goods In Quality Inspector to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Aldershot. This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary of £28,000 to £33,000, depending on experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector who enjoys maintaining high standards and ensuring only quality-approved materials enter production. Working closely with the Warehouse, Purchasing and Production teams, you'll play a vital role in maintaining supplier quality, reducing defects and supporting continuous improvement.
This role would suit someone with previous Goods In Inspection, Quality Control or Manufacturing experience who has an exceptional eye for detail and takes pride in maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming deliveries against purchase orders and quality specifications
- Check paper, board, inks, adhesives, packaging and raw materials for defects and damage
- Assess colour consistency, quantity and product quality
- Record inspection findings accurately using company quality systems
- Quarantine non-conforming materials and raise quality concerns where required
- Work with suppliers and the Purchasing team to resolve quality issues
- Release approved materials into production
- Support supplier quality investigations and corrective actions
- Maintain accurate quality documentation
- Ensure the inspection area remains clean, organised and safe
- Follow company Health & Safety procedures and quality standards at all times
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the quality department
Requirements
- Previous Goods In Inspection, Quality Inspection or Quality Control experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Good communication skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain accurate quality records
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Positive and proactive attitude
Desirable Requirements
- Experience within printing, packaging, graphics or manufacturing
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
- Understanding of paper, board or print production processes
- Experience using warehouse or stock control systems
- Experience working with supplier quality
