Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, honest and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in all settings. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both on your own and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces in accordance with established standards.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and sanitised regularly.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries or requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist in laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as necessary.
