S.I.M ltd completes projects nationwide for various different clients within the telecoms and highway industry. From building large telecoms sites to installing CCTV cameras on highways, the role includes managing and maintain these aspects of the business. The role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop along with the business, with plenty of training.
Working in our office in Peasmarsh, Guildford – As a project co-ordinator you will work closely with the Project Manager and will be liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, site staff and clients to ensure projects and delivered on time and within budget - communication is key.
Day to day will be typically involve:
· Maintaining project documentation;
o such as plans and reports;
o assigning tasks and controlling schedules;
o communicating project progress;
o completing site packs;
o creating RAMS;
o updating accounts and invoicing,
· Dealing with queries from subcontractors and clients.
If you have great attention to detail, confident telephone manner, great organisation skills, proficient in using various computer systems (Excel, Office, Sage) whilst being a keen learner this could be the role for you.
The project co-ordinator will require:
· Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
· Computer literate
· Time management skills
· Structured and organised approach to managing a busy workload
· Effectively manage your own time
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail
· Previous administration work would be beneficial – ideally including an accounts system such as sage
· Have strong organisational skills
· Be able to work under pressure
· Be able to manage multiple projects at one time
· Have a basic knowledge of site working and H&S
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
