Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver and Store Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering products efficiently to our customers while also assisting with store operations. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will ensure a positive experience for every customer. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for local deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs
- Load and unload merchandise, often requiring heavy lifting and physical stamina
- Assembling of products in the customers home such as beds and setting up powered products such as riser recliner chairs and electric beds
- Assist in store tasks such as servicing and maintenance carried out on mobility scooters, some hoovering, unloading lorries.
- Communicate effectively with customers during deliveries, addressing questions or concerns professionally
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during driving and store activities
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, inventory records, and store documentation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Proven delivery driver experience with a valid <PERSON> driver’s license or equivalent commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record in accordance with commercial driving standards
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with stock management is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily tasks
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations related to commercial driving
- Reliable, punctual, the job can be part time for deliveries mainly with some work instore, or full time including more time spent in store
